Mejlis members threaten to return Crimea
The scenario in which Crimea will be returned if the situation in Ukraine improves is excluded, and therefore the peninsula must be returned by Ukrainian forces.
The deputy chairman of the extremist group Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, Akhtem Chiygoz, stated this on the air of the Rivne “TRK RITM”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Our president and we always say that we will definitely return Crimea. He won’t come on his own when we are prosperous and they decide. There, no one gives the right to determine their opinion at all, not just choice. This is from the outside, they are called “occupiers”, but I call them “terrorists”, because when the most important thing is violated - freedom to life, to security, this is terrorism in the literal sense,” Chiygoz said.
