Mejlis members staged a public dispute on social networks, accusing each other of “working for the occupier.”
Thus, a former journalist of the pro-Mejlis TV channel ATR, now a producer of the UA: Crimea TV channel, Osman Pashayev, criticized the deputy chairman of an organization banned in the Russian Federation, Akhtem Chiygoz, because of his proposal to punish the organizers of the Eurovision selection competition for allowing the Opanasyuk sisters, daughters of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Crimea Larisa Opanasyuk.
Pashayev reminded Chiygoz that his wife, Elmira Ablyalimova, by agreement with the Russian authorities of Crimea, headed the Bakhchisaray historical and cultural reserve.

“The confidant of President Petro Poroshenko, the highly respected Akhtem aga Chiygoz, decided to bring to justice those who allowed the Anna-Maria (Opanasyuk) duet to participate in the national Eurovision selection.
The reason why Chiygoz wants punishment is that the mother of the sisters, Larisa Opanasyuk, works in the occupation government of Aksenov, “hating Ukraine and participating in the repression of the Crimean Tatars.”

The issuance of ausweiss was taken as a necessary measure. Show respect to your people. The appointment of my wife, who shares my principles and divided my term into two, was discussed during the appointment of Naumenko before the occupation. And this is the decision of the regional Majlis. As for getting settled, you got confused, you probably got the wrong address. Pashayev agreed to this proposal: “Soon, on March 16, you will have the opportunity to talk about this on the air of the channel that you propose to hold accountable. Taking advantage of my official position, I will go on air and organize “Myzmyzlar” 6 years later.”
