If the Mejlis members cut off electricity to Crimea for several days, the Kremlin will fire the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, and the permanent representative of the president, Oleg Belaventsev.

The head of the illegal Mejlis and people’s deputy Refat Chubarov stated this on air on the ATR TV channel.

Chubarov threatens to cut off power to the peninsula if the participants in the rally outside the Crimean parliament on February 27 last year are not released from prison.

“Can you imagine what will happen if, for some reason, electricity supply to Crimea stops for three days. The first person to be knocked out of there, and Moscow will do it, will be Aksenov and Belaventsev. This group that is putting our political prisoners on trial, they will wait for us to do everything to launch this mechanism,” Chubarov threatens.
