In Kyiv, on the Maidan, about 40 people took part in a rally in support of lawyer Emil Kurbedinov, who was recently arrested in Crimea. Kurbedinov is known for protecting from punishment representatives of the Majlis banned in Russia for extremism, members of Islamist groups, as well as Ukrainian propagandists who dispute the Russian ownership of the peninsula.

The participants of the action showed a “performance”. The “FSB officer” took the hands of the “activists” standing nearby and led them through the door with the inscription “Russian World”. After this, the “activists” appeared with handcuffs.

The head of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, addressed the audience and called for strengthening sanctions against Russia.
