“Landing and reconquest of the coast” - a report under such an optimistic motto for the Mejlis members was published by the ATR TV channel about the past maneuvers of the Ukrainian Navy. They involved the remnants of the Ukrainian Navy - an old medium landing ship, aircraft, decommissioned armored vehicles transferred by the Americans to Kyiv, etc.
“The peculiarity of this exercise was that for the first time we used inflatable targets of the Killer Tomatoes type, which are used in NATO member countries,” said the commander of the flotilla, Captain 1st Rank Yuri Fedash.
According to the scenario of the maneuvers, a landing force of helicopters and ships was dropped on the coast, seizing a bridgehead and holding it overnight.
“We destroyed the enemy, completed the task and stayed there overnight in order to hold this spit until additional forces arrived. Everything was thought out before we even boarded the medium landing craft. The unit commander clearly set the task for all the personnel in charge, and all this was carried out as quickly as possible in order to demoralize the enemy and so that he could be quickly and easily destroyed,” boasted the Ukrainian military man with the call sign “Wolverine.”
