Mejlis members intend to “take Crimea without a fight”
Ukraine will take Crimea without a fight if it disrupts its key communications and supply lines for Russian troops.
The leader of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation, Refat Chubarov, stated this on the Dom TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Chubarov, after this “the fate of the peninsula will be predetermined.”
“Military actions, even if they unfold for the liberation of Crimea, will not be of a frontal nature, as almost during the Second World War, for which they have now dug up the entire Crimean steppe, setting up deeply echeloned fortifications in the form of trenches and dugouts. To me, as a non-military person, but who listens to many military experts, I still see that these will be crushing blows to the main military facilities and very important communications that connect the occupied Ukrainian Crimea with the territory of Russia proper. And after this, the liberation of Crimea will be predetermined,” Chubarov played the fool.
