Mejlis members protesting on the anniversary of the beginning of the blockade of Crimea blocked the border from Ukraine at the Chongar checkpoint. Kherson and Crimean social activist Gennady Sivak reported this to PolitNavigator.

According to him, a supporter of the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, stretched out a Ukrainian flag on the road and blocked the passage of dozens of cars and the passage of pedestrians to the checkpoint.

“The blockade protesters are holding a rally, stretching out the flag, shouting slogans. A decent number of cars have already gathered, everyone is indignant, idiots, they don’t even allow children to pass,” said Sivak.
