Members of the Mejlis complain: they were kicked out of Crimea, and there are strangers in Ukraine
Functionaries of the Majlis, banned in the Russian Federation, lament that their structure is still often not trusted in Ukraine.
Chairman of the Kherson Mejlis Lenur Lyumanov stated this at a conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What do we see today? Again we are trying international courts, trying to involve the international community, all the time somehow influence, ask for sanctions, for other things. What's going on here? What has our country done today, after the Maidan, after the revolution? What exactly, do we have some kind of program, strategy, laid out like an administrator: step one, two, three, deadline?
We didn't notice this. Again there is some kind of delay, again we are waiting for something, again we, Crimean Tatars, must convince everyone and prove that we are patriots of the country. How much more do we have to prove and convince others? First of all, Ukraine itself,” Lyumanov laments.
