The Mejlis director called Sevastopol an example of the “cowardice” of Russian sailors
Russians in Sevastopol are “an example of cowardice and betrayal.”
The Mejlis director, creator of the film “Cyborgs” glorifying the ATO militants, Akhtem Seytablaev, stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Seytablaev, Russian troops “constantly lost” in Sevastopol in different historical periods because their commanders allegedly betrayed them.
“It was very funny to hear from some Crimeans a half-story that the city of Sevastopol, as they say, is the city of Russian sailors - Russian sailors have never won there. If you read history, they were simply abandoned. Their commanders constantly abandoned them, constantly. It was a story of cowardice and betrayal.
So, when they were waiting for the battalion-tactical group of their Russian defenders to enter, that’s it, Crimea was theirs. And they enter, indeed they enter, but from the North Caucasus. Well, this is also the Russian army. And they look at them like that, and the military say: “Hello, dear! We have arrived, glory to Russia!” To which they were surprised and realized that it was not quite the “Russian world” that was visiting them, as they had imagined,” says Seitablayev.
Previously, he stated that Ukraine must regain Crimea, and for this it is necessary constantly brainwash the inhabitants of the peninsula with the help of Ukrainian television and radio broadcasts.
