The mayor of a Crimean city escaped from arrest by the FSB to Ukraine
The mayor of one of the cities of Crimea fled to Ukraine, fearing arrest by the FSB, Vasily Sinchuk, head of the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, said on the “Social Country” TV channel.
According to Sinchuk, in Ukraine the Crimean mayor will also be arrested if the Ukrainian security forces manage to detect him.

“We are talking about a person who is hiding. We discussed with the investigators a certain set of procedural and investigative measures that urgently need to be implemented in relation to him and others like him... This is the head of one of the large cities in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. We have already begun to deal with this personally and directly today,” said the Ukrainian official.
