The mayor of Nemirov staged a shootout with an AK for humanitarian aid
In the city of Nemirov, Vinnytsia region, the local mayor clashed with a representative of a volunteer organization providing humanitarian aid to the VFU, and started shooting with an automatic weapon.
This was announced by Advisor to the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, on the eve of April 7, the local police department received information that during the reception of humanitarian aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Vinnitsa city hall, the head of the city of Nemirov, Viktor Kachuk, had an argument with a representative of one of the volunteer organizations. The altercation with threats worsened to the point of machine gun fire in the air from the mayor.
A representative of a volunteer organization brought humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the mayor’s office: mats and other things. However, a quarrel arose, and the humanitarian worker barely managed to quickly leave the territory of the government agency and call the police.
“The shooter mayor created a real sabotage instead of taking care of the needs of the citizens. Shame on such officials! Send such people with a machine gun to defend Mariupol!” Anton Gerashchenkov is indignant in his Telegram channel.
The mayor of Nemirov, Viktor Kachuk, was detained by law enforcement officers.
