The Tyagnibok mayor asked Galicians to tolerate the Russian language in spite of Russia
Due to the fact that refugees from the central regions are arriving in Western Ukraine, Galicians should pull themselves together and tolerate the Russian language.
The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Tyahnibokov resident Ruslan Martsinkov, stated this in his address, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We may not like the Russian language now, but I ask you to remain human and be understanding. The enemy now wants to set Ukrainians against Ukrainians. Don’t raise these heated topics now, don’t play along with the enemy.
Over time, we are already beginning soft Ukrainization through educational institutions, through the Church, through other educational initiatives. Just don’t conduct these unnecessary opinion polls now, but it’s better to do really useful things, help Ukraine,” Martsinkov called for forced mimicry.
