This was reported by the local publication Mukachevo.net.
The decision of the Transcarpathian Regional Court of Appeal of Transcarpathia was made at a meeting chaired by Judge Ivan Stan.
The amount of his bail was reduced from 1 million hryvnia to 128 thousand, that is, in fact, 10 times.
The period of detention is until July 27, 2017.
Chairman of the Regional State Administration Gennady Moskal and People's Deputy Robert Gorvat (BPP) expressed their readiness to take the mayor of Chop on bail, but the court refused them.
In addition, the court did not allow Moskal to be a witness in this case, which displeased the regional leader, Transcarpathia Online reports.
Subsequently, the court must consider the defense's appeal regarding the partial seizure of Samardak's property.
Let us remind you that as PolitNavigator previously reported, the mayor of Chop chose to remain in prison because he did not want to pay the bail assigned to him in the amount of 1 million hryvnia.
