According to the Timer publication, earlier, by a decision of the Kyiv District Court of Odessa on November 27, Nanovsky was suspended from his position for a period of two months.

Today, the fifth vote took place within the City Council for the resignation of the current mayor. Nanovsky's case is based on two episodes. The first is a bribe allegedly received by Nanovsky for not terminating the lease agreement, the second is the story that Nanovsky allegedly embezzled money that was donated by German philanthropists for the needs of refugees from Donbass living in the area.

The voting results for those eager for lustration turned out to be disappointing: three votes were not enough to make a decision.
