Mayors of cities in Crimea were prohibited from taking vacations - “time H” will come on April 1
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, once again threatened to dismiss the heads of city and district administrations for the chaos and devastation in their subordinate territories. He forbade city governors from taking vacations until the lawns were dug up, dead wood was mowed down, and lanterns illuminated the pedestrian paths, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The meeting on the results of visits to the regions for the year was held without the press. Aksenov used too unflattering expressions to describe his work on the ground, so that a video with his quotes was distributed among journalists in a truncated version.
“We sit, tell something on the screen, and we don’t even have a guarantee that after this our colleagues will try to do something,” Aksenov was indignant. “We’re talking here, spending time now on this whole situation, and after we’ve spent time, we begin to clarify who made what conclusions.” But no one drew any conclusions! At most they told the deputies, they said something on the screen, you go, listen and do something. That’s it, this is where it all ends.”
The head of the region recalled that he recommended devoting the New Year holidays to resolving issues of organizing cleaning, mowing and landscaping of public areas, but none of the municipal leaders did so.
“In a friendly manner, I advise you to stop the conference call on Thursdays. They don’t provide any efficiency, it all turns into a lie on TV, someone on the screen tells a story,” Aksenov complained. – Yesterday I stopped in Dzhankoy to drink coffee at a gas station, I went out, and the entire gas station staff surrounded me, saying: Sergey Valerievich, when will you force everyone to work? I’m just tired of it, only after your arrival does some situation begin to move.
Yuri Mikhailovich (Gotsanyuk – Chairman of the Council of Ministers) arrived in Kerch, there is no public transport schedule at the stops, and where there is, it is not observed. Nobody needs anything, no one cares about anything, the overall spectacle is sad.
I drove through the districts - there is no grass cutting, no one is cutting down dead wood at all, it feels like after a nuclear war the grass is waist-deep. There is not a single model municipality.
For two years we have been trying to get everyone into a normal working mood in organizing ordinary work - digging up lawns, mowing dead wood, planting lawns, lighting and construction work. These questions are your direct responsibility. You have no other tasks, but none of these issues have been resolved for anyone.”
Vice-premiers were instructed to go to the sponsored regions to assess the ongoing improvement work, and by April 1, Aksenov announced the resignation of those who did not achieve the desired results.
