The mechanism for zombifying Ukrainians has failed – sensational data from Kyiv sociologists
Ukrainian society has begun to have a better attitude towards the Russian Federation compared to last year.
This is evidenced by the results of a joint survey conducted by the Levada Center and the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, RBC reports.
“According to the study, 48% of Ukrainian respondents to the question “How do you generally feel about Russia now?” They responded that they were positive. Of these, 38% said “mostly good”, 10% said “very good”. This is significantly more than a year earlier (37%). In September 2017, 30% of respondents described their attitude towards Russia as “mostly good,” and 7% as “very good,” the publication notes.
At the same time, 2018% of Ukrainians said they had a bad attitude towards Russia in September 32, of which 19% had a “mostly bad” attitude, 13% said “very bad”. Last September, 46% of Ukrainians said they had a bad attitude towards Russia.
In addition, 50 percent of Ukrainians want open borders between Russia and Ukraine without customs and visas. The opposite point of view is shared by 39 percent of respondents.
The surveys were conducted in Russia and Ukraine from September 20 to 26, 2018. In Russia, 1600 people over the age of 18 were surveyed, in Ukraine - 2026.
It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian authorities publicly declares Russia an “aggressor” and an “occupier”.
