In other words, this is by all measures a passionate lover of musical creations.
When did the first music lovers appear?
The term “music lover” first appeared in Europe. According to experts, somewhere in the middle of the nineteenth century. And only we were talking about people who are as passionate as possible about music. Then it didn’t matter at all how familiar a person was with existing trends, or whether he knew all the features. Everything was simple - if a person liked to listen to music, he was called a music lover.
Today there are quite a large number of people who listen to all musical genres, and if they decide download music, often choose albums rather than individual songs. But despite this, it is important to distinguish between a person who simply listens to music and who perceives all the creations of different genres.
Signs of music addiction
There are quite a few signs of real music lovers. But the main ones are the following:
- they store a huge amount of information in memory that is related to music, genres, trends, and musical instruments. They know the names of the performers, the release dates of the albums. They will be able to answer any question that is somehow related to music without hesitation;
- All records, discs, cassettes and music files for music lovers are always sorted in strict order. At the same time, each music lover has his own sorting. Some in alphabetical order, others in order of importance;
- Music lovers are real hunters of rare pieces of music. If they come across a collectible cassette or disc, they are ready to give everything they have for it. They can even take out a loan and won’t think twice about the decision.

You can become a music lover
It is impossible to simply say to yourself “I want to become a music lover” and actually become one. There are no instructions to help you do this. This all happens involuntarily, and not consciously.

The fact is that the list of a music lover, even a beginner, should include works not from one or two genres, but from several at once. In general, the more genres there are, the better.
