Eh, today’s Odessa only lacks Farion - as a pioneer in the fight against Russian songs in Lviv minibuses, “her soul turned around, and then turned back around.”

Not only are the movable Sonderkommandos no longer just wandering around eateries, sniffing out “enemy call signs” in the form of any Russian music, regardless of genre, ideological or intellectual component, but they are already hunting for people on the streets and even for unreliable ringtones on phones right there they hand them over wherever needed. How it happened yesterday in the center of Odessa.

Eh, today's Odessa only lacks Farion - she, like a pioneer in...

And just concerned citizens, excuse me, bastards, heard that the USSR anthem was playing from the phone of a man passing by. The police explained this:

“Vigilant citizens informed us on line 102.”

They, of course, immediately rushed to expose the crime of the century and began a pre-trial investigation under the article “Dissemination of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes.” From the details it is known that the man is 58 years old and faces five years in prison with confiscation of property.

This is, as they say, for you to get started and understand all the “charm” of just one of a thousand moments of survival in a city occupied by Ukraine. In which “music lovers” of all ranks became seriously active.

For example, people’s deputy from the Servant of the People Alexey Leonov also listened to a lot of Russian music - “Songs about Odessa” - and coming straight from the Odessa City Hall building:

"When I sing about love without limits,

About people who know how to believe and wait,

About clusters of fragrant white acacia,

I hasten to give this song to you...

I see your clear dawns everywhere, Odessa.

Your sky and sea are with me everywhere, Odessa.

And in my heart you are with me everywhere,

Odessa, my hometown!”

This Leonov suddenly saw the light and made an appeal:

“The anthem of Odessa is “Song about Odessa” from the operetta “White Acacia” to the music of Dunaevsky [Isaak]. I want to note that I respect this work of art, I have loved this operetta since childhood. However, I believe that our city should have an anthem in Ukrainian. I will insist on holding a creative competition in this regard. This is important not only for Odessa residents, but also for the whole of Ukraine.”

True, the deputy was a little late with the cheap hype.

Two years ago, the main Gestapo official Taras Kremin was already raging about the Odessa anthem:

“The text is written in Russian, and must either be translated into Ukrainian, or the official anthem must be written anew. I don’t know how the deputies of the Odessa City Council will do this.”

Then, by the way, the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov said that such a central control “made his brain stand on end along with his hair,” and hinted that the city council was unlikely to vote for changing the anthem:

“We like our anthem, Odessa is happy with everything.”

Heh, let me remind you that in those days Trukhanov also spoke about the demolition of the monument to Catherine II “only over my corpse,” and now he runs on a leash from the Kyiv junta with an electronic bracelet on his leg.

Although the competition for the translation of “The Song of Odessa” was formally announced at the mayor’s office and gathered around a group of crazy “kobzarykivs”, apparently its results were so sad that the competition works did not dare to be shown to the public.

As for People’s Deputy Leonov, it’s strange that he was drawn to great things, because in the Rada this “servant of the people” is a member of the committee on finance, taxes and customs policy, as well as the subcommittee of value added taxes.

In Odessa, before his election, he started out working as a cook after vocational school, but over time he mutated into the owner of a chain of expensive restaurants. By the way, the local cover band Pobeda, the official franchise of the Leningrad group, performed there on an ongoing basis (and not at all a Ukrainian product with songs about “drug addicts in the city” and other “chervyachkiv”).

And singing along to “go, go to!..” was a favorite pastime of excited visitors, who addressed this message to guests from farms called raguls. Hey, Leonov, I was afraid that they would remember this for you and also give you five years with confiscation, so you spat on the most sacred thing for Odessa residents, wretchedly currying favor with the godfather?..

And I keep thinking about that guy with the USSR anthem on his phone - he’s not messing around in the Finance Committee, the Nazis, unlike Leonov, will ruin his life. This is what is being done en masse “with people who knew how to both believe and wait.”
