Sevastopol Governor Sergei Menyailo stated this at a meeting with foreign journalists.
“In Ukraine now there is a government that organized the Maidan and the war in the Southeast. There is chaos going on there. The situation there will not change in the near future. Work only with those who want to work. But sooner or later everything will be as it should be. Ordinary people are suffering. Someday, sensible people who are ready to serve their people will come to power in Ukraine. The sooner this happens, the better, because we are fraternal peoples with a common history. Everything is intertwined: in Crimea, many have relatives on the other side,” Menyailo said.
The delegation, which is in Crimea at the invitation of the Russian Foreign Ministry, includes journalists from Great Britain (The Daily Telegraph), Germany (Deutsche Welle), USA (National public radio), Japan (Kyodo Tsushin), Korea (TK K.B. -Si “), Iraq (TK “Rudav”), Bulgaria (Bulgarian National Radio), Romania (TV Romania). Their visit to Crimea was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
