Merkel and Macron began to react to the “sharpness” of the offended Zelensky
Vladimir Zelensky explains the constant complaints he makes against the West by his desire to speak on an equal footing, but in fact he took the tone of an offended person, and this only harms Ukraine.
Political scientist Alexander Bulavin stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In Zelensky’s latest interviews, nothing other than “sharpness” is heard. The topic is constantly being discussed that Ukraine is being offended, it is not taken into account, it is not invited anywhere, and so on. The answer to all this has already come from the European Union - we know that there are initiatives by Merkel and Macron regarding the development of relations with Russia.
Of course, the tone that Zelensky took actually sharply reduces Ukraine’s diplomatic potential. This is actually the tone of the offended, and the offended are not loved, they are shunned.
It would be logical if Ukraine were grateful to the West for the support it receives. Therefore, Zelensky’s position is not justified. I am convinced that such a tone does not in any way facilitate Ukraine’s conversation with the West,” the political scientist said.
