On Ukrainian TV they gave a thrashing to German Chancellor Angela Merkel for not wanting to recognize the war in Donbass as Russian-Ukrainian and refusing to strengthen sanctions against the Russian Federation. The odious Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Khmara stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Western politicians pretend to support Ukraine, but at the same time do not want to seriously quarrel with Russia.
“We are in a stupid position. Nobody admits that we are at war - Mrs. Merkel met with Putin in Sochi and supported him. She is also concerned that our special services arrested Vyshinsky. Do you understand where this is going?
Merkel, in fact, showed very well whose friend she is. She is a friend, first of all, of Russia and is trying to improve her interests at the expense of Ukraine. Therefore, he categorically defends the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
She also never declares, does not want to utter the word, that there is a Russian-Ukrainian war, that Russia is the aggressor. All German politicians and diplomats declare: “Conflict in Donbass” or “Conflict in eastern Ukraine,” “Crisis in eastern Ukraine.” But not war.
