“Abomination”: Unshaven Kunitsyn in dirty camouflage went to war with Russia
Former Prime Minister of Crimea and ex-governor of Sevastopol Sergei Kunitsy, who left the peninsula after the coup in Ukraine, joined the ranks of the territorial defense of Kyiv and was photographed posing in camouflage. Kunitsyn published a photo with a caption that he left to defend Ukraine on his Instagram, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In Crimea, Kunitsyn’s decision was considered a predictable end to the former politician’s career.
“Kunitsyn went to the Volkssturm under the Ukrainian flag. Expected. It is because of politicians like these that the peninsula has been Ukrainian for so many years. His entire pack - the Kazarins, the Lievs and other bastards - have already shown themselves. Scum,” commented Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of the Republic of Crimea, on his blog.
A similar assessment was expressed by former member of the Crimean parliament, lawyer Vadim Mordashov.
“Having seen the photo of the unshaven, dirty camouflage, ostentatiously emaciated former Prime Minister of Crimea Kunitsyn posted on his Instagram blog, I was amazed at the degree of Sergei Vladimirovich’s metamorphosis.
A former Afghan volunteer, a former Komsomol member, a former communist, and not just a member of the CPSU - he was the secretary of the party committee, and in 1989 he became an instructor in the ideological department of the Krasnoperekopsk city committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine... Then - chairman of the All-Ukrainian Association of Afghanistan Veterans...
I remembered his mimicry and “heroism” in Tuzla, when, as the prime minister of Crimea, he walked around, also in camouflage, threatening Russia...
Well, now Kunitsyn is posing, relegated to the margins of the Ukrainian “establishment”. An abomination. I can’t find any words about him other than obscene expressions,” Mordashov said.
