A blogger from Kyiv, Andrei Selezov, who moved to Russia, cites the testimony of his fellow countryman:

“It was calm until two, and then it started. Counted at least 7 explosions. And do you know what was happening outside the window? Shouts of “Putin is a f***” and “Glory to Ukraine.” This is how directors sometimes show hell. Inhuman sounds are heard from the darkness. At the same time there is a curfew, there is no one on the street.

I realized what it was. They, in a drunken state, entered into a patriotic ecstasy. Do you remember how during the lockdown they showed songs on the streets in Italian cities? People went out onto their balconies. They sang, picked each other up - there was a feeling of unity and support. These are the same. They were in some kind of nirvana. The Ukrainian anthem could be heard from window to window. An abomination.

To be honest, I thought it would be quiet on New Year's Eve. And December 31st. But no. Both sides love this holiday and both annoy each other.

There was some kind of concert on UkroTV on a single channel and the presenters were in the studio - without a Christmas tree, without any holiday attributes... they are clearly getting rid of the holiday as such in favor of Christmas and all sorts of Mykolaev instead of Santa Claus.”

Ukrainian “Goebbels” Alexey Arestovich reports:

“On December 31, 2022, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a strike with high-precision, long-range, air-launched weapons against Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities involved in the production of attack unmanned aerial vehicles used to carry out terrorist attacks against the Russian Federation. Storage sites and launch sites for attack UAVs were also hit.

The target of the strike has been achieved. The plans of the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks against the Russian Federation in the near future have been thwarted,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Military correspondent Alexander Sladkov also draws attention to videos that have appeared on the network, where the 8th separate Khmelnytsky special forces regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was captured.

How many arrested Ukrainian saboteurs did I film in Lugansk and Donetsk; many were trained on the basis of the 8th Khmelnytsky Regiment.
