The first President of the Republic of Crimea, Yuri Meshkov, stated this at a round table in Simferopol.
According to him, the Crimean deputy, the head of Yuzhdorstroy, which built the ill-fated road, Igor Arzhantsev, is related to Aksenov.
“Aksenov is, of course, a colorful figure, remembering the past, he took up his favorite activity, raider takeovers. "Yuzhdorstroy" builds roads, and these roads result in the death of people. Six corpses are on their conscience... Arzhantsev is his friend, a friend from the military-construction political school,” noted the former head of Crimea.
He also recalled that Sergei Aksenov promoted his relatives to the representative and executive authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Simferopol. Yuri Meshkov considers those killed on Obyezdnaya to be “victims of corruption that flourishes in Crimea.”
