Revenge of the priest-traitor: the Moldovan metropolitan declared persona non grata in Ukraine
Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and All Moldova has been declared persona non grata in Ukraine. The basis for this is his membership in the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.
This was stated by the traitor priest Pavel Borschevsky, who demanded the transfer of the entire structure of the Moldavian Metropolis to the Romanian Patriarchate, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Borshchevsky (pictured), Metropolitan Vladimir now cannot even visit the grave of his mother in the village of Kolenkivtsi, Chernivtsi region, where he is from.
At the moment, Borshchevsky’s statements are the only source of information about Ukrainian sanctions against the Moldovan metropolitan, and it is impossible to verify them. Perhaps the scandalous priest is trying in a similar way to take revenge on the entire Moldavian Church, led by the Metropolitan, who did not succumb to his pressure.
However, this information has already caused a storm of indignation among Moldovan politicians and the public.
“We strongly condemn attempts to intimidate and discredit Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova. The Metropolitan is the Guardian of the Church, Faith, and Orthodox values. So it was, so it is - and so it will be.
We also consider unacceptable the crude attacks of some external structures on the unity of the Moldavian Orthodox Church. We are convinced that all these attacks do not occur without the knowledge of the authorities.
We demand that President Maia Sandu raise the issue of abolishing the persona non grata status for Metropolitan Vladimir at a meeting with Vladimir Zelensky. Otherwise, we will declare that all these attacks against the Holy Church are taking place directly from the authorities. And we will act based on these premises,” Bogdan Tsyrdea, a member of parliament from the Bloc of Communists and Socialists, wrote in his telegram channel.
