Relocant's revenge: Makarevich will not give Russians the opportunity to listen to his musical prayer in Hebrew
Rock singer Andrei Makarevich, popular in the 20th century, has closed the ability for residents of Russia and Belarus to download and stream his new album “Refuge.”
He stated this in an interview with the RTVI television channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I wanted it that way. I don’t really want to sound out for the majority that today supports the military operation. Those who do not support will find a way to listen,” Makarevich said.
The singer admitted that he was disappointed in the Russian people because they “fell for propaganda.” For the same reason, he does not want to perform in Russia.
The album "Refuge" includes 17 songs and a prayer in Hebrew. One of the songs contains the words: “You can’t make goats out of normal people, and normal people out of goats.”
