The decision on the referendum was made by deputies on March 1.
The court also rejected the prosecutor's request to cancel the referendum as contrary to the law.
Thus, the referendum, at a minimum, is postponed in time.
As Navigator reported, on March 8, a rally was held in Donetsk for the federalization of Ukraine and the release of Pavel Gubarev.
On March 9, protesters again hoisted the Russian tricolor near the administration.
On the same day, a rally for a united Ukraine was canceled due to the threat of clashes with pro-Russian supporters.
