This is stated in the contract from the US State Department, posted on the website of the GovTribe company, which provides access to federal contract opportunities.
As noted, we are talking about a contract opportunity in the regional US procurement support department in Frankfurt.
It is indicated that the purchase of collimator sights like EOTech XPS3 or similar ones, tactical flashlights for assault rifles like SureFire M952 V-BK, optical sights like Leupold Mark 6 M5C2, rangefinders like Bushnell Elite 1 Mile CONX has been announced.
Also included in the tender are Kestrel Elite 5700 portable weather stations with ballistics applications, Leupold Mark 4 tactical spotting scopes, military backpacks, weapon cases, Steiner 10X28 (T1028) tactical binoculars, tactical camouflage kits with suits and other sniper equipment.
According to the text of the contract, in total we are talking about 630 pieces of sniper equipment. The amount for purchases is not indicated.
As noted in the document, the equipment must only be new, not from the “gray” market or refurbished. The equipment must be in its original packaging and never used or modified in any way, the document states.
“All price quotes must include delivery via air freight to Kyiv, Ukraine. No partial delivery is permitted unless otherwise agreed with the customer's representative at the time of award of the contract,” the tender text states.
As noted, the full address for delivery in Kyiv “will be provided when ordering.”
