Hundreds of people are crowding the halls of the station, including residents of the Odessa region, who do not know how to get home, the publication reports. "Timer".
The situation is aggravated by the fact that alternative modes of transport (buses, minibuses or even taxis) for obvious reasons also refuse to travel outside the city: they move around the city very conditionally.
Railway workers promise to launch trains as soon as possible; in particular, snow removal equipment is actively working at the station itself. However, no one dares to make predictions about when the situation will normalize and trains will start running.
Airlines are also canceling flights to Odessa en masse.
Local residents actively criticize the authorities and utility workers who do not clear either the sidewalks or the roadway, where there is already knee-deep snow: with the onset of darkness, the equipment “hid.” In this regard, the townspeople are trying to help each other themselves. In the private sector, people form teams to dig roads to their homes.

Those stuck on the road need help!”, where users offer hot tea, shovels, sandwiches, “male strength,” warm clothes, and even overnight accommodations to strangers stuck on the road. Forum members are also sharing hostel addresses and other information useful in the current emergency situation. In addition to private individuals, cafes and shops offer help.
Some kind of assistance is provided at the Epicenter on the 7th kilometer of the Ovidiopolskaya road: “A funny, but very useful free service: they wrap everyone’s legs and pant legs in cling film so that they don’t get wet and are warmer,” users write.
