The internecine squabble in Kyiv is reaching a new level
The bickering between former Maidan comrades in Kyiv is reaching a new level - the confrontation is being provoked by Petro Poroshenko himself, who, with an eye on the elections, is trying to build a vertical of security forces loyal to himself.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who works for the headquarters of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who competes with Poroshenko, reports this on his blog.

“Before the elections, President Poroshenko needs not only beautiful pictures from the parade, which will later end up in his election videos. But the most important thing for holding successful, unfair elections for the current government is the powerful influence of administrative resources to deform the will of Ukrainian voters.
And then one intimidated and caressed Okhendovsky (Central Election Commission, - editor's note.) you won't get by. And ardent oaths of allegiance and menacing promises from the head of the Prosecutor General’s Office Lutsenko to be harsh and to apply the Law to the president’s electoral opponents in the elections also have not yet convinced the suspicious Poroshenko.
It is unknown how local prosecutors, who are quite tired of Lutsenko’s creative confusion and “prosecutorial surfing,” will carry out his commands “front” and remove unwanted candidates.
Therefore, the president needs complete, guaranteed control over the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
That is why, right now, President Poroshenko is carrying out two intrigues at the same time - raising First Deputy SBU Demchin against his boss Gritsak and, at the same time, demonstratively belittles the commander of the National Guard Allerov, provoking the Minister of Internal Affairs Avakov to retaliate,” Nebozhenko said.
