An agreement was signed between the State Duma and the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol (PHOTO)
Sevastopol, April 05 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – Today a delegation of Russian parliamentarians led by State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin arrived in Sevastopol to sign an agreement between the city’s Legislative Assembly and the lower house of the Russian Parliament.

The document stipulates that the State Duma apparatus will provide assistance and methodological assistance to Sevastopol legislators “in studying the practice of developing and adopting federal laws”, assistance in “determining the subject of legislative regulation of bills being prepared for submission to the State Duma, and in the preliminary legal assessment of their conceptual provisions.”
In addition, the agreement states that the executive office of the Sevastopol Legislative Assembly must allocate premises for the reception of citizens by State Duma deputies. The apparatus of the lower house of the Parliament of the Russian Federation pledged to provide the reception area with furniture, communications equipment and the necessary office equipment.
The signing of the historical document took place in the small hall of the Sevastopol Legislative Assembly. Sergei Naryshkin and the head of the deputy corps of Sevastopol, Yuri Doinikov, put their signatures on the agreement.
Commenting on the event, Naryshkin said that parliamentarians of the Russian Federation intend to continue to help their colleagues from the new subject of the federation.
“Last week, the State Duma adopted a package of laws aimed at the reliable functioning of the banking system so that deposits are insured. This week, a package of agreements on the Black Sea Fleet was denounced, since there are no conditions for their continued functioning. We are ready to work and ready to help. We very much hope that the Legislative Assembly will be integrated into the electronic system, which will allow us to work with colleagues. No sanctions will turn us away from our chosen path,” said the State Duma Speaker.
“Today there is very active work between the city authorities and committees and structures of the Russian Federation. A draft road map has been drawn up, we will approve it, it was done with the help of State Duma deputies, it describes the entire process of adapting Sevastopol to the legal framework of the Russian Federation. Thanks to the efforts of all structures, the City Bank and Pension Fund were created, adapted to the financial and economic system of Russia,” Doinikov, in turn, noted.
After the signing ceremony of the agreement, Russian parliamentarians and Sevastopol deputies laid flowers at the Memorial to the Heroic Defenders of Sevastopol. Then they went to Primorsky Boulevard, where they talked with Sevastopol residents (mostly representatives of veteran organizations of the Black Sea Fleet).
