International guarantors “threw” Yanukovych, “threw” Poroshenko too

One of the reasons that the Minsk agreements are not working is the low level of trust between the parties and Kyiv’s distrust of international guarantees, says Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute for Policy Analysis and Management.

“To be honest, over the past year and a half, international guarantors have screwed us over at least once. I would like to recall Yanukovych’s agreement with the opposition after the shooting of Maidan and the participation of Polish, German, and French leaders in it. And where is this agreement? What did the parties do with him two days later? – the expert said at a press conference in Kyiv.
