International sports officials were caught receiving bribes from Russian sports officials
The International Association of Athletics Associations (IAAF) received money from Russian sports officials.

Former member of the presidium of the All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF) Alexey Kustov stated this at a press conference in Moscow.
“Since 2009, the All-Russian Athletics Federation, former president Balakhnichev, has been transferring money to the IAAF by covering up positive tests with negative ones. They collected money from athletes,” Kustov said.
Senegalese Lamine Diack, who previously headed the IAAF, said in December 2015 that ARAF received $1,5 million. In June, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office handed over to the French side materials on the case of corruption in the IAAF.
