The DPR MGB declassified plans to disrupt the election of the head of the Republic
Ukrainian special services are preparing provocative information campaigns aimed at disrupting the election of the head of the DPR.
This was reported by the press service of the DPR Ministry of State Security, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The DPR MGB has reliable information about the preparation by the Ukrainian special services of provocative information actions aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation in the Republic and disrupting the elections of the Head and deputies of the DPR People's Council.
“Ukrainian intelligence services plan to use the sending of fake messages through the Internet messenger Viber, emails with a substitution of the sender to the email addresses of ministries and departments of the DPR with fake orders and instructions, as well as statements and feature articles in the media and social networks with links to officials DPR that elections in the Republic are allegedly being postponed or cancelled,” the department said.
The DPR Ministry of State Security emphasized that all credible information is contained exclusively on official DPR media resources.
“In addition, the Ukrainian side plans to use various methods of intimidation of all participants in the electoral process, cynically focusing on residents of the DPR of retirement age, threatening them with criminal liability in Ukraine,” the press service said.
The DPR noted that all of these threats are absolutely groundless and will be aimed solely at disrupting the upcoming elections, since there are no grounds for applying procedural measures for taking part in voting.
“We draw the attention of international human rights organizations to the anti-democratic actions of the Kyiv regime, and ask them to give an adequate assessment of the criminal efforts of the Kyiv side aimed at disrupting the electoral processes in the Republic,” the department commented.
