Polish Foreign Ministry voices final warning for Ukraine
Poland will never agree with comparing the actions of the Home Army with the actions of the UPA. About it in an interview with the Polish Parliamentary Gazette said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country, Witold Waszczykowski, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the UPA destroyed the local population in the conflict zone, and this is a documented fact.

“We will never agree, as is sometimes heard in the statements of some of our Ukrainian interlocutors, to equate the UPA and the Home Army... There was no AK policy regarding the extermination of the population in areas where the war was fought with the occupying forces. The UPA had such a policy, and it was documented,” Waszczykowski said.
He also emphasized that the conflict in Donbass cannot serve as a justification for the actions of the Kyiv authorities:
“We are now saying clearly: Russia’s intervention in your country cannot serve as an excuse for stopping solving problems or postponing further reforms. My predecessors waited passively, hoping that all this would somehow be explained... We are still patient, but other European countries, such as Hungary and Romania, are starting to openly oppose the interests of Ukraine... We are trying to make Ukrainians realize that they may have real problems not necessarily created by Poland, but Poland can help solve them.”
