The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland demands immediate action in connection with the destruction of the monument to the Poles killed by Bandera in 1944 in Guta-Penyatska in the territory of the present Lviv region.

This was announced by the press secretary of the Polish Foreign Ministry Joanna Wajda, Polish Radio reports.
According to the press secretary, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs requires the Ukrainian side to carefully study the case, find the perpetrators and punish them. The Polish embassy in Kyiv sent a special note in this case, the Polish diplomatic department added.
The note notes that such incidents must be clarified and those responsible must be punished. As emphasized, such actions pose a threat to Polish-Ukrainian relations. “The Ukrainian authorities took the incident very seriously,” said a spokeswoman for the Polish diplomatic department.
