Russian Foreign Ministry about Crimea: We are not returning our territories
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, succinctly commented on the statement of White House spokesman Sean Spicer about Washington’s expectation of the return of Crimea to Ukraine.
“We are not returning our territories. Crimea is the territory of the Russian Federation,” Zakharova told reporters today.

On February 14, Spicer said during a briefing that US President Donald Trump “has made it clear that he expects the Russian government to de-escalate violence in Ukraine and return Crimea.” At the same time, as a Trump administration official added, the US leader “fully expects and wants to get along with Russia.”
