The Russian Foreign Ministry appealed to NATO: Stop hysteria around Ukraine
The United States and NATO countries are purposefully working in the interests of the “war party” in Ukraine, stuffing Kyiv with weapons and supporting anti-Russian hysteria.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The United States and NATO countries continue to deliver new shipments of “military aid” to Ukraine, while the search for a peaceful solution to the conflict in Donbass is becoming increasingly difficult. Naturally, all this plays into the hands of the “war party” in Ukraine, those people who constantly call to kill everyone, deport the unwanted, deal with the disobedient. Shelling of Donbass continues. We note that this violates the ceasefire that has been in force since July 2020,” said a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Once again we call on NATO countries to immediately stop whipping up hysteria around the internal Ukrainian conflict, stop military supplies and support for Kyiv as one of the conflicting parties in the East of Ukraine. We hope that the Ukrainian authorities will stop blindly following their NATO mentors, because this is no longer the path to a cliff, but from a cliff,” Zakharova said.
She also called on Kyiv to “show independence” and start a dialogue with Donbass.
