The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed: Ukrainians may not return from Russia

“It is difficult to disagree with this statement, since it is very realistic. I can tell you for sure that many who came from Ukraine to Moscow these days and saw how the capital was decorated, how guests were welcomed here, really showed a desire to stay longer. This statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry cannot be denied realism. The Security Service of Ukraine intimidated the residents of the country with “anti-Ukrainian provocations” from the Russian special services. Apparently, it was planned that some disguised Santa Clauses would kidnap people on Tverskaya,” Zakharova said.
She also noted that, for their part, the Maidan authorities had prepared a “New Year’s surprise” for the Russians who went to Ukraine: they were forced to give fingerprints at the border.
