Russian Foreign Ministry: After Ukraine, I want to move on to Honduras
Ukraine is using the withdrawal of Russian military observers from Donbass to wage an information war, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was stated today by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“We see Kyiv’s attempts to completely distort the information picture, to accuse Moscow of anything, using the fact of the withdrawal of Russian officers from the joint center. It's obvious why this is being done. The internal political situation in Ukraine requires constant accusations of some external entity as an excuse for what is happening in the country. That’s what we did,” Zakharova said.
She once again called on Western countries to influence Ukraine, emphasizing that she was primarily turning to France and Germany and only then to the United States.
“We call on the Ukrainian authorities not to shift responsibility and to focus on the unconditional fulfillment of their obligations under the Minsk agreements in their entirety and consistency. We hope that foreign partners, first of all, in the Normandy format, as well as the United States, will not stand aside and will be able to use the levers of influence they have to encourage the Kyiv authorities to do this,” Zakharova said.
Zakharova’s last remark can be regarded as a joke, given the joke that was popular in Soviet times.
“After the situation in Ukraine, I would like to move on to the situation in Honduras,” the diplomat said.
