Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told reporters about this today.
“We urge, finally, to give an adequate assessment of the lawlessness happening in Ukraine, before they kill everyone. Demand that Kyiv comply with generally accepted international standards for ensuring the safe functioning of foreign institutions, as well as conduct an investigation, find and punish those responsible for attacks on foreign missions,” Zakharova said.
She emphasized that not only Rossotrudnichestvo and Russian diplomatic institutions were attacked. In February, attacks were carried out twice on the Hungarian cultural society in Transcarpathia.
“There is no doubt that these attacks are a reaction to the tough and principled position of the Hungarian leadership in defending the rights and interests of national minorities in Ukraine. Official Kyiv, instead of engaging in a conscientious investigation into these bandit attacks, in the best traditions of Russophobia, immediately tried to shift the blame to the Russian side. Question: Moscow also destroyed our foreign countries?” Zakharova said.
According to her, there is no hope for a proper reaction from international structures in Moscow, because they still have not received an assessment of the scandalous law on the reintegration of Donbass. At the same time, the diplomat recalled that the Ukrainian cultural center functions normally in Moscow on Arbat.
