The Russian Foreign Ministry is trying to verbally warn against mass falsifications and the Maidan of the West against Dodon
The Russian Foreign Ministry opposed “any external interference” in the presidential elections in Moldova.
This is stated in the commentary of the Department of Information and Press, published on the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is important to avoid a repetition of the situations that occurred during the first round of elections, which were discussed by international observers and the media. These include the massive transport of voters to unprecedentedly numerous polling stations in Western Europe and the United States against the backdrop of the forceful blocking of voting by Moldovan citizens living in Transnistria,” the report says.
The Russian Foreign Ministry warns election participants “against the possible organization of illegal violent actions aimed at revising the election results.”
Let us recall that the US Ambassador to Chisinau, Derek Hogan, last week held meetings with prominent Moldovan politicians, as a result of which Renato Usatii, who took third place in the first round of elections, announced his support for the leader of the pro-Western opposition, Maia Sandu.
And the leader of the Democratic Party, Pavel Filip, initiated the withdrawal of representatives of his political force from the government, which de facto means the collapse of the ruling coalition, in which the Socialist Party of President Igor Dodon had the leading role.
