They simply began to threaten the Kyiv regime by becoming living witnesses to these very crimes,” said the Foreign Ministry representative.
“What have they been shouting at us from Kyiv for the last 4-5 months? What are our Western so-called partners shouting at us, what is the liberal public around the world shouting at us? What kind of Nazis are there, there is no one there, no crimes have ever been committed there based on xenophobia.
And now those who were withdrawn from Azovstal have provided evidence of what they were doing, and they were not doing it independently, not on their own, they were part of the regular Armed Forces of Ukraine. They were dangerous witnesses from the point of view of the Kyiv regime and were subject to destruction,” Zakharova said.
She emphasized that Kyiv units pressed the “Start” button with American weapons, relying on American information tips.
