Russian Foreign Ministry: Ukraine has been turned into a hotbed of neo-Nazism
Ukraine has been turned into a hotbed of neo-Nazism, where relevant elements from all over the world are flocking to be used by Kiev for a punitive operation against the residents of Donbass.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
She commented on the law adopted even without discussion by the Verkhovna Rada, simplifying obtaining Ukrainian citizenship for foreign mercenarieswho fought in the Donbass, and Western instructors teaching the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Instructors received the right to acquire Ukrainian citizenship in a simplified manner. This is not hypocrisy, not double standards, this is some kind of blasphemy with mockery. In order not to give the opportunity to people who originally lived in the Donbass to legally have the right to their own language, and at the same time change the laws every day, giving the opportunity to people who have never lived there, who clearly came there for non-peaceful purposes, it is easy to obtain this citizenship, without any conditions. And no one will ask what language these instructors will speak - whatever language they want, that’s what they will do,” Zakharova noted.
In her opinion, “the situation in Donbass is a disgrace to modern Europe and directly to those who modeled this situation manually for many years, and today have abdicated all obligations, guarantees and responsibilities.”
“The falsification and rewriting of history, the whitewashing of fascism has actually turned the country into a hotbed of neo-Nazism. These elements flock there from all over the world, and it has even come to the point that they are openly taught military skills by army instructors from the USA, Britain, Canada and other NATO countries. All this is being done under the auspices of the fight against the mythical Russian threat,” added the Foreign Ministry representative.
