Russian Foreign Ministry: Ukrainian “killer regime” will not solve the murder of Voronenkov
Moscow is “shocked” by the information about the daring murder of Russian State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov today in the center of Kyiv.

This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The information available in the media allows us to judge that we are talking about a prepared contract killing, which has all the signs of a demonstrative action. Immediately after the publication of information about this event, Moscow hoped that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies would still be able to quickly solve this crime and determine, without politicization, on the basis of objective data, its true customers and perpetrators,” Zakharova said.
However, after a statement by Petro Poroshenko, who called the murder of Voronenkov “an act of terrorism on the Russian side,” the assessment of the situation in Moscow changed.
“As they call it, the killer regime will do everything to ensure that no one ever finds out the truth about what happened in Kyiv today. After President Poroshenko’s statements, we have no such doubts,” Zakharova said.
She expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
