FSB criminologists in Donetsk will conduct an investigation into the murder of Alexander Zakharchenko at the invitation of the DPR authorities. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are talking about Russian forensic experts. They will be in this territory at the request of local authorities. And they will assist them in the investigation of the terrorist attack,” Zakharova said.
According to her, the person who ordered the murder remains to be identified, but “the logic of those who morally and emotionally supported this terrorist attack is to destabilize the situation.”
“Kyiv is striving for a forceful resolution of the conflict. He is being pushed into this muscle flexing by his Western handlers, who regularly supply him with lethal weapons, but do not make any efforts for a peaceful settlement,” Zakharova said.
