The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced that it has created a “pressure mechanism on Iran”
Kyiv allegedly has a mechanism to force Iran to admit its guilt at the international level for downed plane, repentance and compensation.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Prystaiko stated this while speaking in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A mechanism has been created that will allow us to bring Iran to justice and complete all the very difficult cases with our citizens. Yesterday I spoke with the Iranian minister, and today we have full cooperation. But at the same time, mechanisms for a common group for criminal investigation have been created.
A group has also been created at the UN, which jointly considers the possibilities of increasing international pressure on Iran. That is, we have all the mechanisms in our hands in order to receive not only an apology, but also compensation to our citizens,” the minister noted.
He also put forward a number of demands to Tehran and threatened to raise this issue at the UN Security Council.
“We want to record the Iranian side’s admission of guilt, recognition at the international level, as a document. This is precisely what the conversation between the president and the president was for. We demand a special representative, we will still promote this in the UN Security Council, and fix the responsibilities, and we will go all the way to the end, including admissions of guilt, compensation to relatives and so on,” Prystaiko added.
