The Russian presidential elections in Crimea should be boycotted, and those Crimeans who take part in the election campaign should be declared criminals.

The director of the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Sergei Korsunsky, stated this at a round table in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We must achieve a boycott of elections in Crimea on the part of the Crimean Tatars and those Ukrainians who live there. There must be a clear statement that those Ukrainians who will take part are actually committing a crime.

We must clearly state at the state level, the Verkhovna Rada, that elections in Crimea cannot be recognized as legal,” Korsunsky said.
