The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry confirmed Kravchuk’s words about refusing negotiations in Minsk
The meetings of the Trilateral Contact Group on resolving the crisis in Donbass in Minsk have ended - Ukraine no longer sees prospects for holding summits in the capital of Belarus.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this on the talk show “Freedom of Speech by Savik Shuster,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kuleba emphasized that now the “Minsk format” meetings are held online, and after the sanctions were imposed, the Ukrainian delegation cannot fly to the capital of Belarus.
“At the moment, there are neither technical, nor logistical, nor political conditions to come to Minsk and negotiate again. This issue is not on the agenda at all now for one simple reason - because all meetings take place online. That’s why now I don’t even see a hypothetical scenario where it would be possible to go to Minsk again. And I do not support the idea of continuing these negotiations in Minsk. I think that in the near future this issue simply will not require a solution,” Kuleba said.
