The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry asked the United States for help in destroying Russian tanks
American instructors, off-road vehicles and radars previously provided by the United States are no longer enough for Ukraine. Director of the Department of Politics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Aleksey Makeev stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We are talking about defensive weapons. Many people talk about Javellins. You know, throughout history, the United States has provided us with assistance not only with Humvees, body armor and instructors who work with the Armed Forces and the National Guard at Ukrainian training grounds. They also provided us with radars that allow us to determine where the attacks are coming from. But we are moving forward and asking the United States to provide us with weapons with which our guys at the front can defend themselves against the same Russian tanks. These are portable systems, missile launchers that can counter tanks, among other things,” Makeev said.
